Our school readers were asked in their feedback if they felt the 1-1 reading time had a positive impact on the children they worked with at the school.
95% noted a positive impact on reading confidence.
83% noted a positive impact on reading fluency.
73% noted a positive impact on reading comprehension.
This academic year we estimate our current volunteers will support 1100 children every week and will commit up to 11000 hours to schools in their community.
That is 66,000 10 minute reading sessions!
