One in four children leave primary school unable to read to the expected standard - a disadvantage that can affect their confidence, education and future opportunities.
At Schoolreaders, we’re changing that story. Our wonderful volunteers visit primary schools each week to provide children with one-to-one reading support, helping them gain the skills and self-belief they need to thrive.
- A one off gift of £40 will provide one child with a full year of weekly reading support from a dedicated volunteer.
- A regular gift of £3.50 a month gives ongoing help to reach even more children in need.
