Hackney Half
A popular half marathon, you’ll run 31.1 miles through the vibrant streets of the East London borough of Hackney.
The route will take you through iconic landmarks like the Hackney Town Hall, Broadway Market and Hackney Wick. The event is famous for it’s lively atmosphere with free yoga, bootcamps and music on the marshes. You’ll be dancing your way to the finish line.

Manchester Marathon
Come and join the second largest marathon in the UK and the fourth most popular in Europe.
Whether you’re a first-time marathon runner or a seasoned pro, Manchester attracts all abilities. Famous for it’s fast, flat and friendly route the marathon starts at Old Trafford then takes you north through the city centre before heading down to Sale and Altringham. You’ll then head back for your finish at Old Trafford.

Paris Marathon
Head to the streets of the French capital in April 2026 and join thousands of participants from across the world.
The 26.2 mile route will start at the foot of the Arc De Triomphe and take you on a whistle stop tour of some of Paris’ most famous landmarks including the Champs-Elysees, with views of the spectacular Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. An unforgettable experience in this cosmopolitan capital famed for love.
Run for Charity
Run for Charity combines fitness with philanthropy, encouraging individuals to support charities while achieving personal fitness goals. Events vary from marathons to fun runs, making it accessible for all ages and abilities. Participate in one of our exciting running events to help provide children with the reading support they need. Whether it’s a marathon or a fun run, every step you take helps us place more volunteers in schools. Check out our range of events here.
Charity Challenge
Charity Challenge aims to inspire people to push themselves to their limits, do something amazing and raise as much money as possible for a cause they are passionate about. If you are looking to self-fund a challenge in 2025, you can choose to support Schoolreaders.
